Expressions of Cx43, Survivin, PTEN in Skin Scar and Skin Scar Carcinoma

  • Objective To explore the related factors of cancerization of skin scar epithelium. Methods The expression of survivin, PTEN and Cx43 proteins was detected in normal skin tissues, skin scar tissues and skin scar carcinoma tissues by the immunohistochemical method of SP, and that of Cx43mRNA were detected by in situ hybridization. Results (1) The expressions of survivin in normal skin, skin scar and scar carcinoma tissues were weakly positive, positive and strong positive respectively,the expression levels were increased gradually, and the expression levels of survivin in skin scar, skin scar carcinoma were significantly higher than that in normal skin.(2) The expressions levels of PTEN, and that of Cx43 protein and mRNA in normal skin, skin scar and skin scar carcinoma were lowered gradually, and those in skin scar and skin scar carcinoma were significantly lower than that in normal skin. (3) There was significant difference in the expressions levels of Cx43 protein and mRNA between skin scar and skin scar carcinoma were statistic differences. Conclusion The high expression of survivin and the low expressions of PTEN, and connexin43 in the skin scar may have a relation with skin scar epithelium cancerization.
