Abstract
To investigate the expression of cell cycle correlative protein CDC25A,TGF-β and Smad3 in esophageal carcinoma and the relationship between the abnormal expression of these factors and the development of esophageal carcinoma. Methods The expression of CDC25A,TGF-β and Smad3 protein and cell cycle of 38 esophageal carcinoma cases and normal esophageal mucosa at surgical margin of esophageal carcinoma tissues was detected by Flow cytometry(FCM). Results The expression of CDC25A in esophageal carcinoma was higher than normal tissue and the expression of TGF-β and Smad3 in esophageal carcinoma was lower than normal tissue. The expression of these proteins was related with tissue differentiation, but not age and gender. Conclusion The abnormal expression of CDC25A,TGF-β and Smad3 may be related with the origin of esophageal carcinoma, so it can be the diadynamic criterion of esophageal carcinoma.
