A Cacse-control Study on Risk Factor of Gastric Carcinoma in Cixian of Hebei Province

Objective To explore influence on the genesis of gasfric carcinoma.Mothod A population-based 1:1 matched case-control study on 370 was conducted in Cixian County of Hebei province.Result The odds ratio of influence factors were caculated :moderate diet OR=0.54,liking garlic OR=0.725,mountain spring OR=32.166,low body mass index(BMI)OR=2.173,marrital staus OR=2.673,eating much fruit OR=0.538,consumption of food grains other than wheat and rice OR=0.619,a mental scar OR=11.819,history of gastric ulcer OR=39.262,cookery OR=0.504，history of superficial gastritis OR=21.753. Conclusion It indicated that mountain spring, low BMI,bad marrital staus,mental scar,history superficial gastric and history gastric ulcer were the risk factors of gastric carcinoma,while moderate diet,liking garlic,consumption of enough fruit and food grains other than wheat and rice and having habit of eating boiled vegetables were the protective factors of gastric carcinoma.
