Signif icance of CD31 and EPO-R Expression in Prostate Cancer

Objective 　To evaluate the role of erythropoietin receptor ( EPO-R) and CD31 in the Prostate cancer ( Pca) . Methods 　Fif ty 3/one cases of Pca and ten cases of benign prostate hyperplasia (BpH) were studied by immunohistochmcal method using monocolonal antibody to EPO-R and CD31. Results 　It was showed that there were significantly correlation between EPO-R or CD31 and Grade, Score of Gleason and metastasis of Pca. Conclusion 　The expression of EPO-R and CD31 may play a important role in the development and metastasis of Pca.
