  • Objective To study the effects of MT(Metallothionein)overexpression on drug resistance in breast cancer cells. Methods Expression plasmid pBAcNeoMT ⅡA was transfected into breast cancer cell lineMCF 7/Adr cells.The drug resistance of the cells to cisplatin were detected by SRB experiment. Results Compared to the control cells,MCF 7/Adr cells transfected with MTⅡA cDNA showed enhanced resistance to cisplatin,The LD 50 increases from about 12 uM to approximately 30uM.
