Determination of nasopharyngeal cancer marker CYFRA21-1Irma and its clinical significance

Objective To search marker of nasopharyngeal cancer. Methods The serum CYFRA21-1IRMA levels among 41 patients suffered from nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) and 40 healthy persons were determined by immunoradiometric assay. Results The positive rate in carcinoma group is 41.5%(17/41) and that in healthy person group is 5%(2/40), P <0.01.The difference is very significant.
