Clinical Analysis of 28 Cases of Gastric Lymphoma of Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue

  • Objective  To explore clinical and pathologic features, diagnosis and t reatment of gast ric lymphoma of mucosa2associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) . Methods  The clinical records of 28 patients with gastric lymphoma of MALT were analyzed. Results  Symptom of digestive system and/or abdominal mass was the common clinical features. The positive rate of Helicobacter pylori ( HP) was 92. 9 %. 21 cases were low2grade, 7 cases were high-grade involving low-grade part or not . Conclusion  Most of gastric lymphoma of MAL T is B cell lymphomas, and the final diagnosis is dependent on pathologic methods. If anti-HP therapy, chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy are applied, the prognosis will be better.
