Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of Penehyclidine hydrochloride on patients under going the tumor operation of neck and maxilla. Methods 60 patient s with tumor of neck or maxilla were muscle injection 1mg of Penehyclidine hydrochloride 30 min before general anesthesia . To observing the amount of secretion of oral cavity and upper respiratory tract and sedation effect in the process inserting and pulling out t rachea or in the ICU. Results In the process of inserting t rachea through anesthesia, keeping anesthesia and consciousness, it had strong effect of secretion inhibition and central sedation. The secretion of oral and upper respiratory tract reduced obviously in ICU . 90 % of the patient s did not need to be given sedative. Conclusion Penehyclidine hydrochloride has st rong on secretion inhibition and cent ral sedation. Is is a better choice to be used in the tumor operation of neck and maxilla.
