Reversing Effect of rhTRAIL on Cisplatin-resistant Human Lung Adenocarcinma Cell Line A549/ CDDP

Objective 　To explore the reversal effect s of rhTRAIL on the multidrug-resistant cell line A549/ CDDP. Methods 　A549/ CDDP was treated with combinations of rhTRAIL. IC50 values and reversing drug-resistance index (RI) of the chemotherapeutic drug were analyzed by MTT assay. Results 　After treated with rhRRAIL, IC50 values of CDDP of A549/ CDDP cell line were reduced very significantly ( P < 0. 01), while RI augmented significantly ( P < 0. 05) . Conclusion 　rhTRAIL has reversal effects on multi-drug resistant cell line A549/ CDDP, which is a very promising biological drug for drug resistant lung cancer.
