The Diagnosis and Treatment of Pancoast s Tumor (Report of 28 Cases)

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of Pancoast s tumor. Methods To analysze 28 patients with pancoast s tumor retrospectively. Results 21 of 28 cases with pancoast s tumor were treated with radiotherapy before surgery combined with widely resection. The survival rate of 1,3 and 5 year was 95%,57% and 28%,respectively. Conclusion The best treatment of Pancoast s tumor is widely resection and radiotherapy before operation.
