  • Objective In order to elucidate the role played by GSTA1 in hepatocarcinogenesis. Methods GSTA1 mRNA and protein expression levels were detected on HCC, para-HCC and pre-HCC tissues from 35 cases of tree shrews' HCC induced by Aflatoxin B_ 1, as well as on the HCC and para-HCC tissues from 35 cases of human HCC, through the methods of RT-PCR and immunohistochemical staining. Results The expression level of GSTA1 mRNA and protein in tree shrews' HCC tissues was lower than that in para-HCC and pre-HCC tissue....
