  • Objective To investigate the expression of transforming growth factor-β1(TFG-β1) and its significance as well as its effect on the angiogenesis in colorectal carcinoma (CRC). Methods The expression of TGF-β1,the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and microvessel density (MVD) in 70 patients with CRC and 10 normal colorectal mucosal tissues were examined by immunohistochemistry.
