Merkel Cell Carcinoma of Skin(3Cases)

Objective To discuss the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of Merkel cell carcinoma(MCC). Methods Three patients undergone MCC during the period of 1989 through 1999 were reviewed retrospectively.All patients received tumor excision and either chemotherapy or radiotherapy or both. Results All patients experienced local recurrence in 5 months.Median survival duration was no longer than 2 years.
