Study of Single-layer anastomosis of Gastroesophagus with 52 Cases Report

Objective To study the feasibility of singlelayer anastomosis of gastroesophagus in preventing the stricture of anastomosis and in improving te QOL. Methods From Jannary 1995 through June 1999,esophag gastrectomy with single-layer anastomosis was administered to 52 patients. Results One patient(1.9%) developed leakage of anastomosis and was cured by drainage with no operative death.The diameter of anastomosis with GI is large than 1cm.Three patients feel mild discomfort which does no harm to the QOL.Conclusio...
