Expression and significance of MMP-2 and VEGF in endometriosis

  • Objective To investigate the role of matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP 2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the pathogenesis of endometriosis (EMs). Methods A total of 70 specimens of endometriosis and 30 specimens of the normal controls were evaluated by immunohistologically techique with polyclonal antibody against MMP 2 and VEGF.
