Radiotherapy for 54 Patients with Brain Metastases

  • Objective To study the efficacy of radiotherapy on the brain metastases. Methods 54 patients with brain metastases from September,1996 to September,2000 were treated with radiotherapy, when the dose of whole-brain radiotherapy got up to 30Gy,then supplemented 20~24Gy or 16~18Gy. Results The 8 patients without supplementary irradiation all died in one year.
