Abstract: In the year from 1978 to Dec. 1984, 17 cases of early cancer of cardia were admitted, about 5% of resectared cases of cardia (320 cases) in the same peaiod. Early cancer of cardia in clinical aspect are relative rare; Early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment are beneficial to the resectalilty rate of and 5-pears surviral rate, The research of the cancer of the cardia is olny in the Primary stadium. This paper emphasize-(1) the discussion of the recognition of cancer of cardia revealed by both clinical and foreign spcialist.(2) The author's several experiences through endoscopic examination and surgical treatment are revealed.
