An quantitative evaluation of transforming growth factor-β_1 in tissues of prostatic cancer and BPH with sandwich ELISA

  • 摘要: 采用双抗体夹心法ELISA检测了20例前列腺癌、20例前列腺增生(BPH)患者前列腺组织提取物的免疫反应性转化性生长因子β1(TGF-β1)的含量。TGF-β1在两组的含量分别为2416±790.6ng/g组织和1934.2±673.0ng/g组织,二者的差异具有显着性意义。4例正常前列腺的TGF-β1含量为459.3±187.18ng/g组织,比两个实验组低得多,提示TGF-β1不仅参与前列腺的生理过程,而且可能对上述两种疾病的发生和发展具有重要的生物学作用。

     

    Abstract: Abstract Prostate tissu extracts from 20 patients with prostatic carcinoma (PC) and 20patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) were quantitatively assayed for expression of immunoreactive transforming growth factor-β1, (TGF-β1 ) with sand-wich ELISA. The content of TGF-β1, was significantly higher in PC (2416±790. 6ng/g tissue) than that in BPH (1934. 2±673.0ng/g tissue). While the content of TGF-β1 in 4 normal prostates (459. 3 ± 187. 18ng/g tissue) was much lower than that in both experimental groups. The findings suggest that TGF-β1 may be biologically important not only in the physiological process of prostate but also in the development of PC and BPH.
