Abstract: Therapeutic effect of the support healthy energy decoction plus chemotherapy(group A) and chemotherapy only (group B)in the treatment of advanced lung cancerswas compared. Methods: Comparsion of 65 advancde lung cancers was carried out,group A-35 cases and group B-30 cases. The clinical and pathological results werecompared by the X2 test. Results: The group A gave an overall response rate 54.28%,and the group B 30% (P0.05). Meaniwhile, the group A had a better improvement ofthe clinical symptoms and less side toxicities. Conclusion: In advanced lung cancer casesas treated with combination of chemotherapy and the support healthy energy decoction,clinical results were more satisfied than those of group B.
