肿瘤相关巨噬细胞在鼻咽癌中的研究进展

Research Advances of Tumor-associated Macrophages in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

  • 摘要: 肿瘤相关巨噬细胞(tumor-associated macrophages, TAMs)是肿瘤微环境中重要的免疫细胞,主要分为两种类型,即经典活化的M1型巨噬细胞和替代性活化的M2型巨噬细胞。TAMs在许多肿瘤组织中发挥M2型作用,即促进肿瘤的增殖、血管生成,诱导肿瘤细胞侵袭和转移,目前有关肿瘤相关巨噬细胞与肿瘤细胞之间相互作用机制已有大量研究,TAMs有望成为临床治疗中的重要靶点。本文围绕肿瘤相关巨噬细胞的来源和作用及其对肿瘤的发生发展作一综述。

     

    Abstract: Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are important immune cells in tumor microenvironment and are mainly divided into two subtypes: classical activated M1 macrophages and alternative activated M2 macrophages. In many kinds of cancers, TAMs are mainly M2-type and promote tumor proliferation, angiogenesis and induce tumor cell invasion and metastasis. At present, increasing evidences have been suggested that TAMs could interact with tumors cells to enhance the tumorigenesis. TAMs are expected to become the important target in clinical treatments. This article reviews the origin and function of TAMs and their roles in tumorigenesis.
