Abstract: Multidisciplinary treatment(MDT) is a new treatment pattern of oncology medicine. It is an inevitable result for the development of multidisciplinary medicine and a demand of cancer patients for high-quality treatment. Specialist clinical diagnosis and treatment is applied on single disease in Hubei Cancer Hospital, and we have gathered some experiences and obtained some achievements in the practice of MDT. A sophisticated multidisciplinary team is the ensurance for standardized and individualized diagnosis and treatment for cancer patients. The reasonable organization and operation of MDT model will improve the level of treatment, and finally it will reach a " win-win" situation among patients, doctors and hospital with positive social and economic benefits.
