HOXB13在前列腺癌中的作用及机制研究进展

Research Progress on Functions of HOXB13 in Prostate Cancer and Related Mechanisms

  • 摘要: HOXB13作为同源盒基因的成员之一,常表达于前列腺组织中,对前列腺组织的生长发育有调控作用。许多研究发现欧美前列腺癌患者携带HOXB13的G48E突变的比例高于正常人群,而国人前列腺癌患者中携带一种新的G135E突变。前列腺癌组织中HOXB13广泛表达,而HOXB13的高表达提示预后不良。本文就HOXB13在前列腺癌发生发展过程中的作用及其机制进行综述。

     

    Abstract: As a member of homeobox gene, HOXB13 is frequently expressed in prostate tissues and can regulate the growth and development of prostate tissues. The incidence of G84E mutation in Euramerican prostate cancer patients with HOXB13 is higher than that of normal population, while a novel HOXB13 gene mutation G135E is associated with increased prostate cancer risk in China. High expression of HOXB13 in prostate cancer tissues indicates poor prognosis of patients. This paper reviews the functions of HOXB13 in prostate cancer and related mechanisms.
