MicroRNA靶基因3'端非翻译区单核苷酸多态性与肺癌关联的功能性研究进展

Progress on Functional Investigation of 3'UTR SNPs in MicroRNA Targeting Genes Associated with Lung Cancer

  • 摘要: 肺癌位居目前世界恶性肿瘤死因第一位,其发生发展是遗传易感性和环境危险因素相互作用的结果。近年来的流行病学及分子生物学研究发现,存在于肺癌相关microRNA靶基因3'端非翻译区上的SNPs与肺癌的易感性及预后存在关联,可能在肺癌的发生发展中发挥一定的生物学功能。本文对这些SNPs在肺癌的易感性及预后中的功能研究进展作一简要综述,旨在为肺癌等恶性肿瘤的研究、诊断、治疗和预防提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Lung cancer is the leading cause of worldwide cancer death currently. Its occurrence and development are the result of the interaction of genetic susceptibility and environmental risk factors. According to recent studies of epidemiology and molecular biology, some SNPs of the 3' untranslated region(3'UTR) in the target genes of lung-cancer-related microRNAs were associated with the susceptibility or prognosis of lung cancer, and may exert biological function in tumorigenesis and progression. This article reviews on those functional studies of SNPs associated with lung cancer risk or prognosis, thus to provide reference for further researches, diagnosis, treatments and prevention of cancers including lung cancer.
