Expression of FRAT1 Tumor Related Gene in Colon Cancer Tissus and Its Clinical Significance

  • 摘要: 目的 研究FRAT1在结肠癌组织中的表达及临床意义。方法免疫组织化学法检测73例结肠癌组织及正常结肠组织中FRAT1的表达;Western blot、RT-PCR方法检测FRAT1蛋白和mRNA的表达水平。结果FRAT1在结肠癌组织中的表达阳性率(80.8%)高于正常组织(在正常组织中不表达)。FRAT1表达水平与肿瘤分化程度和TNM分期相关,分化程度越低表达水平越高,并与TNM分期成正比。结论FRAT1 与结肠癌的发生、发展密切相关,并可能成为结肠癌基因治疗的一个潜在候选靶点。

     

    Abstract: Objective To explore the expression of FRAT1 and its clinical significances in colon cancer tissue. Methods The expression of FRAT1 in 73 cases of colon cancer and normal colon tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry.Western blot and RT-PCR method were used to detect the expression level of FRAT1 protein and mRNA. Results The positive rate of FRAT1 in colon cancer tissues (80.8%) was significantly higher than that in normal tissues (no expression in normal tissues).The expression level was correlated with the degree of differentiation and TNM stage,the lower differentiation degree with the higher expression level,and the higher TNM stage with the higher expression level. Conclusion The expression of FRAT1 was strongly correlated with the genesis and development of colon cancer.FRAT1 may become a potential candidate target of colon cancer gene therapy.
