Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of dendritic cells(DCs ) pulsed with heat-shocked autologous gastric cancer cells lysat on the cellular immunity of the postoperative patients with gastric cancer．Methods DCs isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cell of gastric cancer patients were cultured and proliferated in vitro by using rhGM-CSF and rhll-4, and then were pulsed with heat-shocked autologous gastric cancer cells lysates．Thirty two postoperative patients with gastric cancer were randomly divided into two groups．sixteen cases were treated with dendritic cell vaccine and received chemotherapy．Sixteen cases only received chemotherapy and were established as control group．Cellular immunity and clinical effects on two groups of patients were compared and observed．Results The rates of CD3+,CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8+, CD4+/CD8+ and NK cell in the DC vaccine group signifieantly increased after vaccination(P<0.05), while those of the control group showed mild decrease．Conclusion The heat-shocked gastric cancer cells lysates pulsed DCs vaccines can improve the cellular immunity of the postoperative patients with gastric cancer received chemotherapy
