Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of concurrent chemoradiotherapy on lung cancer complicated vertebral metastasis. Methods Thirty cases of NSCLC complicated vertebral metastasis，ECOG remark 0~2 score，underwent DP（Docetaxel 75mg/m²+DDP 75mg/m²，iv drip，d1）regimen chemotherapy，concurrent vertebras external irradiation，applied conventional radiotherapy，2Gy/fraction/day，5 fractions/week，for 4 weeks with total dose 40Gy. Results After the treatment，the motor function of lower extremity was improved and pain relieved，both showed significant differences（P＜0.05），local control rate of 1 and 2 year was 60.7%，46.4%，survival rate of 1 and 2 year was 53.5%，35.7%，median survival time was 14 months，the major toxicity was myelosupression，nausea/vomiting and alopecia. Conclusion DP regimen chemotherapy combined concurrent vertebras radiotherapy in treating spinal cord compression shows good efficacy，improves the quality of life and the toxicity can be tolerated.
