Abstract:
This paper reports a retrospective analysis of radiotherapy in 901 cases with invansive cervi-cal carcinoma. The patients were divided into two groups according to their ages. Patients aged 70 or over were in group A, and the others were in group B" Clinical staging, histopathelogic clas-sification, side efforts of radiation and 5-year survivals of two groups were studied. It indicated that incidence of stage,of cervical carcinoma in group A is higher than group B with significant difference in statistics. (
P<0. 05). Radiation reaction of rectum in group A is slightly greater than group B, but without statistical significance (PLO. 05)" The 5-year survival is similar in two groups. It reveals that advanced age patients with cervical carcinoma still have good prognosis af-ter proper treatment.
