Abstract:
We selected 30 patients with tumor in respiratory and metabolic system, they were routinely treated by chemotherapy within the experiment, the level of cortisol and aldosterone were examined by radioimmunoassay. As a result, the level of cortisol and aldosterone were reduced from 663.45 ± 243.17nmo1/L to 474.78 ± 275.45nmo1/L and from 638.83 ± 324.39amo1/L to 434.45 ± 322.42nmo1/L respectively. It differ significantly (
P<0.0l,
P<0.02). The results suggest that chemotherapy auppreas the secretive function of adrenal cortex. We may use corticoid drugs to minimize the side effect during the chemotherapy.
