Abstract:
This essay is about 30 cases of esophageal carcinoma, which are treated by total stomach transplantationin esophageal bed and cervical esophagogastrostomy,since December,1985 to August, 1993 in our hospital. The curative effect is good.There are 16 cases of middle esophageal carcinoma and 14 cases of upper one,the length of tumors varies from 4cm to 21cm,12 cases are right thoracotomyand 16 cases are left one, 2 cases are non-thoracotomy inversion removed.Postoperative complications:two cases of anastomotic leakage one case of chylothorax,one case of anastomotic stenosis,one case of respiration failure and one case of asphyxia of sputum obstraction,two cases were dead.The death rate of operative patient is 6. 6%.This report discusses the advantage of this operationmanner and the improvement of operative method.It also advances the author's viewpoint about prevention these postoperative complications,such as anastomotic leakage,anastomotic stenosis,chylothoraxand pulmonary complications etc.
