Abstract:
From 1976 to 1992,44 patients with middle and advanced stage vulvar carcinoma were treated by radical vulvectomy combined with radiation therapy and chemotherapy in our hospital.The age of patients over 60 years was 43 percent.The most common presentation was a vulvar mass which has begun to enlarge,or produce pruritus or a serous discharge.According to the FIGO stage.16 cases was with stage Ⅱ;25 cases stage Ⅲ and 3 cases stage Ⅳ 43% cases was followed up.1.3,5-year survival rates for this study were 93%;64%;43%,respectively.According to this report,it has demonstrated that radical vulvectomy combined with radiation therapy and chemotherapy is superior to alone treatment.
