Abstract:
One hundred fourteen cases and sixty eight cases of,mid-latestage cervical carcinoma were treated with electrochemical therapy(ECT) and radiation respectively. The results showed; (1) The three and five years survival rate in the cases treated with ECT was higher than that treated with radiation. (2) The response was better in the treatment of cauliflower-like, relatively small mass and early clinical stage. But there was not st significant correlation between the long clinical effect after ECT and the pathological types and differentiation of carcinoma. (3)It was better that the number of treatments was two times and the total electric quantity of the treatment was calculated by 150C/lcm. (4) The recurrence rate after treatment with ECT was lower than after treatment with raditation.
