Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression of CD147, MMP-2, MMP-9 and it s clinicopathology in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Methods Immunohistochemical S-P method was used to detect the expression of CD147, MMP-2 and MMP-9 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded 100 non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) and 10 benign lymph node pathological changes. The relationship between CD147 and MMP-2, MMP-9 expression, together with the relationship between these proteins and biological activity of NHL was further investigated. Results The expression of CD147 and MMP-2 were high in NHL group while low in the control group ( P = 0. 018, 0. 023, respectively) . As for MMP-9, the case had no signification. There were correlation between expression of CD147 and MMP-2, MMP-9 ( P = 0. 016, 0. 034, respectively) . And there were no correlation between the expression of three proteins and NHL patient sex, lesions and Ann Arbor stages. Only CD147 expression in B-cell lymphoma and T2cell lymphoma, MMP-2 expression in T-cell lymphoma had signification versus to the cont rol group ( P = 0. 045, 0. 015 and 0. 001, respectively) . Conclusion Overexpression of CD147 in N HL induces the expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9, especially, the expression of MMP-2, affecting the biological progression of NHL with the whole clinical stages.
