Abstract:
Objective To observe the expressions of CD44v6 and C-e r bB-2 gene product in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),and their clinical sign ificance. Methods The expressions of CD44v6 and C-erbB-2 gene produ ct in 65 cases of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) were analysed quantitativel y with the immunohistochemistry staining technique(SP),and the result were relat ed to clinical data. Results The results showed that CD44v6 overexpre ssion was associated with the stages with lymphnodes involved and the desease st aging(P<0.05).The C-erbB-2 overexpression also correlated with the stages with lymphnodes involved (P<0.05). Conclusion The data demonstr ated that expressions of CD44v6 and C-erbB-2 gene product might be used as obj ective indicators of the metastatic potency, extent of invation and the prognosis in NSCLC.
