环状RNA在消化系统恶性肿瘤中的研究进展

Research Advances on Circular RNA in Malignant Tumors of Digestive System

  • 摘要: 环状RNA(circRNA)是一类单链非编码RNA,通过非经典剪接或反向剪接事件形成环状构象。最近,已在多种癌症中观察到circRNA的异常表达,且越来越多的研究提示circRNA通过多种分子机制不同程度地参与抑癌或促癌进程,表明它们在肿瘤的发生发展中发挥关键作用。本文系统总结了circRNA在消化系统恶性肿瘤中的功能和分子机制的最新研究进展,发现circRNA有望作为靶分子在未来消化系统癌症治疗领域得到进一步探索。

     

    Abstract: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of single-stranded non-coding RNAs that form circular conformations through non-canonical splicing or reverse splicing events. Recently, aberrant expression of circRNA has been observed in several cancers. An increasing number of studies suggested that circRNA is involved in tumor suppression or tumor promotion to varying degrees through diverse molecular mechanisms, highlighting its key role in the occurrence and development of tumors. In this review, we systematically summarize the latest research progress on the function and molecular mechanism of circRNA in malignant tumors of the digestive system. circRNA is expected to be further explored as a target molecule in the treatment of digestive system cancers in the future.
