Abstract:
Lung cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer as well as the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Traditional anti-tumor treatments, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, have been maximized. Recent years, cancer immunotherapy has been shown a broad prospect. Low immunogenicity of tumor antigens, which can not cause the enough anti-tumor immunity, is one of the mechanisms of tumor immune escape. The tumor vaccination can clear or control the tumor by applying tumor cells or tumor antigens substance to induce specific cellular and humoral immune response, which enhances the body's anti-cancer ability, and prevents tumor growth, proliferation and recurrence. In this article, we systematically review the advances of vaccine therapy on lung cancer in recent years.
