Abstract:
Polyamidoamine dendrimer(PAMAMD), which have hyperbranched, well defined and monodisperse structures, is widely used in biomedical area. After targeting ligands linked to surface functional groups, PAMAMD could be used as the carriers in targeted systems to significantly improve the object molecular biocompatibility, dispersion stability and targeting property, and has been widely used in the studies of cancer imaging diagnosis and targeted therapy. In this paper, we briefly introduce the characteristics of PAMAMD targeted system, and review the research progress of PAMAMD targeted system in the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer, including the capture of circulating tumor cells(CTCs), imaging diagnosis and targeted therapy; at last we discuss the application prospects and challenges of the system faced in the research of ovarian cancer.
