Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between the expression of adiponectin receptors and prognosis of chemotherapy of colon cancer after radical resection. Methods One hundred colon cancer patients after radical resection all were received the chemotherapy of FOLFOX4 and were followed up for 2 years. The treatment cycles were 8-10 times. The expression adiponectin receptors of 80 cases of was detected by immunohistoohemical assay. Results The expression of adiponectin receptors in colon cancer was associated with the Dukes stage, tumor pathology types and lymph node metastasis(
P<0.05).The survival time of Adiponectin receptors positive patients was longer than the negative patients in Kaplan-Meier survival curve. The Cox regression analysis showed that the expression of adiponectin receptors might be one of the prognostic factors of disease-free survival on colon cancer patients(RRerccl=6.44,95%
CI:1.76-22.15,
P<0.01). Conclusion Expression of adiponectin receptors in colon cancer is negatively associated with the Dukes stage, tumor pathology types and lymph node metastasis.Adiponectin receptors might be a prognostic factor of disease-free survival for post-operative adjuvant chemotherapy in Ⅱ,Ⅲ stage colon cancer.
