Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression of usp22 and ki67 in colorectal carcinoma and to study their correlation with tumorigenesis and progression of colorectal carcinoma. Methods The expression of usp22 and ki67 in specimens was detected by immunohistochemistry.The correlation between expression of usp22 and ki67,and the relationship of their expressions with clinicopathological factors was statistically analyzed. Results The expression of usp22 and ki67 was upregulated with decrease of differentiation level in colorectal carcinoma(
P<0.05).In colorectal carcinoma,the expression level of usp22 was positively correlated with that of ki67 (
r=0.4066,
P<0.05). Conclusion In colorectal carcinoma,both usp22 and ki67 was upregulated,meanwhile they are positive correlated.These findings suggest that usp22 and ki67 may play important roles in the tumorigenesis and progression of carcinoma.
