Abstract:
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of Ki-67 protein and the radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Methods The expression of Ki-67 protein of 159 biopsy specimens of vpc was detected by immunohistochemical technique. Results The positive rate of Ki-67 in 159 NPC tissues was 98.7%. The expression intensity of Ki-67 had no significant relation with the clinical stage of NPC, the extinction of nasopharyngeal tumor and cervical lymph node after radiotherapy whose dose was 70Gy (P>0.05). Conclusion The expression of Ki-67 protein has no relation with NPC radiosensitivity.
