Abstract:
Objective To study the influential factors of recurrence after surgical opertion of esophageal squama carcinoma(ESC),provide evidences for diminishing the probability of recurrence. Methods Analysis the relation between 14 factors and recurrence by SPSS 13.0 sofeware. Univariate analysis was performed using a Chi-Square test and multivariate analysis was performed using logistic regression modeling. Results Univariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between recurrence and 5 factors:T stage,N stage, the positive expression rate of p53 gene, the positive expression ranges of survivin gene in cancerous peripheral tissues, whether or not finished or exceed 50Gy radiotherapy after operation.Multivariate analysis showed that 3 factors were independent influencing factors:T stage, the positive expression ranges of survivin gene in cancerous peripheral tissues, whether or not finished or exceed 50Gy radiotherapy after operation. Conclusion Patients with T3, T4 stage had even higher risk for the recurrence of ESC.Patients finished or exceed 50Gy radiotherapy after operation had lower recurrence rate. The positive expression ranges of survivin gene in cancerous peripheral tissues were another independent influential factor.
