Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of concurrent chemoradiotherapy on lung cancer complicated vertebral metastasis. Methods Thirty cases of NSCLC complicated vertebral metastasis,ECOG remark 0~2 score, underwent DP(Docetaxel 75mg/m
2+DDP 75mg/m
2,iv drip,d1)regimen chemotherapy, concurrent vertebras external irradiation, applied conventional radiotherapy,2Gy/fraction/day,5 fractions/week,for 4 weeks with total dose 40Gy. Results After the treatment, the motor function of lower extremity was improved and pain relieved, both showed significant differences(
P<0.05),local control rate of 1 and 2 year was 60.7%,46.4%,survival rate of 1 and 2 year was 53.5%,35.7%,median survival time was 14 months, the major toxicity was myelosupression,nausea/vomiting and alopecia. Conclusion DP regimen chemotherapy combined concurrent vertebras radiotherapy in treating spinal cord compression shows good efficacy, improves the quality of life and the toxicity can be tolerated.
