Abstract:
Objective The sCD40L contents of peripheral bloods with non-hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) patients and healthy persons were determined and evaluated its value in NHL prognosis. Methods The sCD40L contents of peripheral bloods with 50 NHL patients and 24 healthy persons were determined by euzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), respectively. Results (1) sCD40L contents with NHL peripheral bloods were lower than those in healthy control (
P<0.05). (2) sCD40L contents in NHL peripheral bloods of Ⅲ, Ⅳ stage were lower than those of Ⅰ, Ⅱ stage (
P<0.05). (3) sCD40L contents in NHL peripheral bloods with infiltration beside lymph node organ were lower than those with no infiltration beside lymph node organ (
P<0.05). (4) sCD40L contents in NHL peripheral bloods with high malignancy were lower than those with midrange malignancy, sCD40L contents in NHL peripheral bloods with midrange malignancy were lower than those with low malignancy (
P<0.05). Conclusion There are close correlations between sCD40L and malignant degree, infiltration beside lymph node organ and clinical stages, which can likely be of importance in judging the NHL prognosis.
