Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical features of cutaneous metastasis of intra-abdominal tumor. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 12 cases of intra-abdominal tumor accompanying cutaneous metastasis in our hospital from January 1996 to December 2007. Results Twelve cases with symptoms of cutaneous or subcutaneous lump post-operatively were confirmed cutaneous metastasis by pathological diagnosis.There were seven cases of colorectal cancer,two cases of gastric cancer,two cases of pancreatic cancer and one case of appendiceal cancer. Conclusion Cutaneous metastasis is very rare and typically suggests widespread disease with poor prognosis.
