Abstract:
Objective To study the clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, surgical management and prognosis of patients with mediastinal cystic lymphangioma. Methods Seven patients with mediastinal cystic lymphangioma were analyzed retrospectively. Results Seven patients were operated with complete resection and proved cystic lymphangioma with anatomy, there was no recurrence during long-term follow-up. Conclusion Cystic lymphangioma of mediastnum are benign and could be detected with CT. Surgical resection can achieve effective result and satisfactory prognosis. The minimal invasive technology and video assisted thoracoscopy surgery are of special value in this treatment in the near future.
