Abstract:
Objective Reseach the resection and survival rate of advanced gast ric carcinoma af ter the intervention chemoembolization and radical cure resection. Methods Compare the resection rate and patients survival bettwen 63 cases after intervention chemoembolization with 53 cases after general chemotherapy. Results The effect of intervention chemoembolization was remarkable on the symptom of hematemesis or hematochezia, the rate of radical cure resection reached 100 %, the cont rast group reached 55. 36 %, palliative resection reached 28. 57 %, transition 16. 07 %. The 1/ 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 year survival rate were 100 %, 93. 65 %, 93. 22 %, 90. 90 %, 58. 00 %, 41. 37 %, 25. 00 %. while the 1/ 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 year survival rate (no 6 year survivals ) for the cont rast group were 83. 93 %, 87. 23 %, 70. 73 %, 72. 41 %, 42. 86 %, 11. 11 %, 0. 00 %. The 1~3 year survival rate between two groups has differentia dealt with statistics ( P< 0. 05) . Conclusion Intervention chemotherapy times and embolize at the last time, can reduct the tumor focus, prevent t ransference and recurrence, improve the rate of resection and survival for advanced gastric carcinoma.
