Expression and Significance of microRNA-130a in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective To investigate the expression of microRNA-130a in non-small cell lung cancer and analyze their correlation with clinical parameters. Methods Real-time PCR method was used to examine 100 samples of non-small cell lung cancer. Results The expression of microRNA-130a in non-small cell lung cancer was increased. It's expression was significantly associated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P< 0.05).Multivariate analysis showed the prognosis was statistically correlated with clinical stage，lymph node metastasis and microRNA-130a expression（P< 0.01）. Conclusion microRNA-130a might play an important role in non-small cell lung cancer and thus be the potential gene therapy target for this cancer.
