Abstract:
Objective We detect the expression of survivin in cervical precancerous lesion and invasive u2 terine cervical cancer, to determine whether Survivin expression is related to in the critical steps of cancer onset and progression, and evaluate it s diagnostic value in cervical cancer. Methods Immunohistochemis2 t ry staining and Real2 time fluorescence quantitative PCR were used to detect the expression of survivin in 30 invasive cervical cancer, 15 cervical precancerous lesion and 10 cervicitis tissue. Results (1) The ex2 pression of survivin protain mRNA tended to increase along with tumor progression2f rom cervical precan2 cerous lesion to cervicitis lesion, with a statistical significance but have a low expression in cervicitis tis2 sue ( P < 0. 05 and P < 0. 05) . The expression of survivin mRNA in cervical precancerous lesion and inva2 sive uterine cervical cancer is a cervicitis tissue respectively of 11. 000 % with 22. 600 %. (2) survivin mR2 NA is positively correlated with survivin protain in cervical cancer 、cervical precancerous lesion ( P = 0. 02 and P = 0. 01), but no correlation is fond in cervictis. Conclusion survivin is significantly related to the genesis and progression of cervical cancer, and is an important tumor marker, Real2time fluorescence quantitative PCR used to detect the expression of survivin may be a reliable way for early diagnosis of cer2 vical cancer.
