Abstract:
Objective This article probed into the relationship among the expression of the MDR1 large intestine adenocarcinoma tissue, the differentiation of the large intestine adenocarcinoma, and the metastasis of the lymphoglandulae mesentericae. Methods The 29 large intestine adenocarcinoma samples were measured by in situ hybridization with labeling MDR1 cDNA probe by sterptasiding-gold and immunohistchemistry technique (LSAB) with P-gp directed monoclondal antibody(JSB-1). Results The metastatic rate of lymphoglandulae mesentericae has significant difference in patients with the expression of MDR1 from without expression of MDR1 (P<0.05).There was no significant association between the expression of MDR1 and differentiation of adenocarcinoma. Conclusion The MDR1 expression (whether high or low) is positive correlative with the metastasis of lymphoglandulae mesentericae. The positive expression of MDR1 is of no statistical significance compared with the differentiation of adenocarcinoma. To the determination of chemotherapeutic effect and prognosis, the measurement of MDR1 expression is somewhat of significance.
