Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of diallyl disulfide (DADS) on the expressions of Aurora-A and Aurora-B of human gastric cancer cell line SGC7901. Methods SGC7901 cells were cultured in vitro, and the expressions of Aurora-A and Aurora-B of human gastric cancer cell line SGC7901 were measured by RT-PCR, Western blot and immunocytochemistry. Results Treated with 15 mg/L DADS for 24 h and 48 h, the expressions and proteins of Aurora-A and Aurora-B mRNA in SGC7901 cells reduced (
P<0.05) in a time-dependent manner. Conclusion DADS down-regulates mRNA and protein expressions of Aurora-A and Aurora-B in gastric cancer cells.
