Abstract:
The incidence of nasopharyngeal cancer in the world is less than 1/10
5, but it can be as high as 50/10
5 in the high-incidence areas in China. The high-incidence areas are mainly concentrated in the south of China, especially in Guangdong. For a long time, chemotherapy is the main treatment on advanced nasopharyngeal cancer. There is a lack of efficient, low-toxicity targeted drugs and new treatments. Reasonable and effective treatment is of great significance to improve the survival rate of patients with nasopharyngeal cancer, reduce the side effects and enhance the quality of life. This paper reviews the progress of comprehensive treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer in recent years.
